Ushuaia pronounced ‘oos-why-ah’ is the most southern city in the world and is also known as “Fin Del Mundo – End Of The World”. This is where the Pan American highway ends and it’s the jumping off point to Antarctica.
Once the ship docked, we quickly made our way to the port and booked ourselves on a tour to Tierra Del Fuego National Park which in our opinion is a must see. Our guide Santiago was fantastic and very enthusiastic to show us the area. The rocks really are blue like this!
There’s even a post office at the Fin Del Mundo if you were so inclined to mail yourself a postcard with the special stamp – we didn’t.
Patagonia just continues to impress us and it’s an area that is rich with flora and fauna.
We also had a bit of time to walk around town. It was cute in a rustic sort of way like most remote places tend to be.
We loved Tierra Del Fuego National Park and it was definitely a great area to see.
Where we stayed: Holland America Zandaam Mid-Ship Lower Promenade Deck 👍
